Gambia casinos

The list of The Gambia's casinos is surprisingly short for the country. While it is a small country, essentially the valley of the river Gambia, it has an open and thriving economy. It has also become one of the great destinations for European tourists in search of some winter sun. In fact the country deliberately set out to become a tourist magnet for those escaping from the severity of a Northern European winter: something they've managed to do very well. So the shortness of the list of Gambia's casinos is therefore something of a puzzle, it's simply odd that there aren't more. That sort list of Gambia's casinos in fact only contains two places: On Cape St Mary there is the Fajara Casino Club offering blackjack, slots, roulette and baccarat (very much a European gambling game and one the presence here shows who the likely players at the casino are). There is also in Kanifing the Kololi Casino, offering again roulette, blackjack, baccarat and in addition, poker. One of the interesting things about the country is that it was both the first and the last of the British colonies in Africa. The location and the natural port at the head of the great river (and the fresh water of the river itself) made it a natural stopping place for sailing ships to come in and restock their supplies before going on further afield. A rather darker part of the country's history was the associated part it played in the slave trade. That very port and the fact that ships were stopping there anyway made it one of the great trading centers of the trade across the Atlantic. In fact, when Alex Haley wrote his familial autobiography, 'Roots', he was able to trace his own line to Kunta Kinte, born in a small village on the north bank of the river. Some of the country's tourist trade is thus based, that part of it which isn't on Europeans looking for sun, on Americans rediscovering their roots. In common with many other African counties the Gambia depended in the past upon the export of a commodity for it's keep, in their case groundnuts (peanuts). While this is still important the dual industries of the port itself (much trans-shipment is done here) and the ever growing tourist industry have now taken up much of the strain. We can expect, as that tourist trade continues to grow in both size and sophistication, for the list of Gambia's casinos to grow.

Camping at california state beaches

California State Parks offer a total of 64 state beach facilities up and down the beautiful California coastline. Many of California’s state beaches provide camping facilities and they all offer gorgeous coastal views and a wide range of activities that are sure to please everyone in your family. Sonoma Coast State Beach is located in the northern coastal region of California. Visitors to Sonoma Coast can enjoy hiking, bicycling, and horseback riding along the scenic trails and craggy beaches. While the strong surfs and rip currents of California’s northern beaches are not safe for swimmers, they provide great opportunities for surfing. Wildlife, including harbor seals and the endangered snowy plover, can be spotted throughout the park and fishing is bountiful all along the 17 miles of beaches. Sonoma Coast offers two developed family campgrounds as well as two environmental camps. Bodega Dunes features 98 campsites and hot showers. A sandy beach with a handicap accessible boardwalk is located near the campground and summer programs are available for children. Wright’s Beach offers 27 campsites along the beach with picnic tables, fire pits, and paved parking. Wright’s Beach campers can use the nearby showers at Bodega Dunes. In the San Francisco Bay area of California, Half Moon Bay State Beach lets campers experience the moderate temperatures and gorgeous sandy beaches of the San Francisco Bay through hiking, fishing, or picnicking. The four miles of vast beaches at Half Moon Bay includes four beaches, a three mile trail for walking, jogging, and biking, and a horse trail. Francis Beach offers a 52 site campground for tents and campers, as well as coin operated hot showers. The water in the San Francisco Bay stays too cold for swimming year round, but fishing in the park is abundant. California’s central coast boasts a wide variety of state beaches, offering many different activities and venues. From hang gliding to bird watching, the central coast has a little of everything. El Capitan State Beach is located just outside of Santa Barbara and offers shady picnicking and camping beside the El Capitan Creek. Hiking, bicycling, surfing, and fishing can be enjoyed in the park. One bike trail connects the park to nearby Refugio State Beach, only 2.5 miles away. Visitors to Refugio can also enjoy camping, hiking, biking, and fishing. Los Angeles County has several state beaches with picnicking facilities and hiking trails. While most of these state beaches do not provide camping facilities, they are perfect for day trips. Visitors to Malibu Lagoon can enjoy historic and cultural exhibits, as well as bird watching and guided nature tours, including watching the gray whale. Santa Monica State Beach is a beautiful beach that offers shopping as well as activities like volleyball, basketball, and jogging. Many of LA County’s beaches also provide wireless internet services. When visiting, carry along a cooler, like one of Coleman’s wheeled coolers, to keep your lunch fresh and your drinks cool. Orange and San Diego Counties have some of California’s best beaches for swimming and surfing. The balmy, Mediterranean temperatures make the beaches great vacation destinations year round. San Clemente State Beach is a beautiful, sandy beach that stretches one mile down Orange County’s coast. The campground at San Clemente features 157 sites, 72 including hook-ups. Visitors can enjoy nature trails, as well as natural and cultural exhibits and events. The beach is popular for picnics, swimming, and surfing, and the park has an available wi-fi connection.

Your mental scorecard

Like life, winning at golf is a mental challenge. You should never be too down on yourself for a loss, anymore than you should become arrogant at a few successes. The game of golf will help you learn to deal with disappointment and shortcomings in other areas of your life. Don't ever allow yourself to stop enjoying the time you spend with the game. If you begin to find yourself losing your enthusiasm in this situation, take the time to evaluate and determine out what has begun going wrong and take action to correct it immediately. Once the enjoyment of the game is lost for you, it is difficult to continue play. It is important in golf as well as in life, to periodically step back and re-evaluate your game. There are an abundance of techniques for this. Some will record their game so that they can watch it in order to evaluate the changes they need to make. The point is by evaluating your game... I mean to see how well what you are progressing and getting you to the goals that you have set for yourself is a lifelong continual process of a quest for improvement. It is important that you must set up well thought out attainable goals and milestones along with a specific means of reaching those goals... and a way to track and evaluate your progress. In order to thoroughly evaluate your game, you will need to review how you play. This involves taking a good look at your previous games and deciding if you have succeeded in meeting the goals you set. If you have met that goal compensate yourself for a job well done, and review the next goal. If you havent yet met that goal you will need to evaluate it and determine if it is reachable, and if not, re-set it to a more realistic place. Determining the reason it was not successful can and will go a long way in evaluating and ultimately improving your game. Once you have found the reason for the inability to meet the goal you have set, and re-established it, you can once again begin to play and hopefully compensate yourself again as you reach one goal after another. If you are willing to combine hard work with reachable goals with a strong metal game, your will be a winner at life as well as golf.

Will san francisco 49ers tickets be cherished again

San Francisco 49ers tickets were once the premier sports tickets in the country. The 49ers’ run in the 1980’s and early 1990’s is nearly unmatched in the history of the NFL. The team featured some of the best and most recognizable players and coaches on the planet, and for years, the team was the gold standard by which every other NFL club was measured. Since then, however, the team has gone almost literally from the “penthouse” to the “outhouse.” The 49ers finally had years of salary cap issues catch up with them, and they bottomed out completely in recent years. It was hard to imagine, when watching the team over the past couple of seasons, that this was the best team in football for so many years. Below we’ll look at how the rebuilding effort is coming along, and attempt to answer whether the 49ers can realistically expect to return to their perch atop the NFL anytime soon. New Coach Mike Nolan is currently in his second season with the 49ers, and his first season was a total washout. Nolan had no talent to work with as the team attempted to right their salary cap situation, and he almost had to play a rookie QB with no playmakers around him. As expected, the team finished with a dismal 4-12 record, and San Francisco 49ers tickets were basically being given away outside the stadium. However, Nolan did get to work on laying a cultural foundation, and he jettisoned veterans who weren’t buying in to his plan. He took his lumps with his young players as they gained experience, and he instilled a discipline that had been missing in San Francisco for many years. If one wanted to take a close look at how Nolan was doing, he or she needed to dig much deeper than the team’s record. New Quarterback Alex Smith came into the league in 2005 as the top pick in the NFL draft. There simply is not any situation in football where a player can come into the league with higher expectations and more pressure, as every QB who is the top overall pick is expected to be a franchise savior. Looking at past results, some of these top picks succeed and others fail. After the 2005 season was completed, the jury was still way out on Smith. He threw only one touchdown pass against 11 interceptions, but again, he had no talent around him. So far in 2006, Smith has shown marked improvement. He’s got a few more players around him, but it’s hardly an all-star team. Regardless, Smith is having a much better season, is showing much more football-savvy on the field and has led the 49ers to more wins in 2006 after 10 games than they had in all of 2005. Overall Progress It appears that the centerpieces are in place with a good coach and a talented young QB. Those are usually the most difficult pieces to find when building a team, so now that the 49ers are getting cap-healthy, it’s time to start adding complimentary pieces that will push the team over the top. Overall, the 49ers are headed in the right direction. It’s going to take a few more seasons with good drafts and wise free agent additions, but if the team can keep their momentum, San Francisco 49ers tickets will be “the” sports tickets to get once again.

Making money from sports apparel being manufacturer or a distributor

Every year, thousands of shirts, shorts, pants, jackets and other accessories are produced every year. This can be for brands like Nike, Reebok, Champion and Adidas to name a few that are made in different countries and sold around the world. Research shows that between 2004 and 2005, the importation of these goods rose by more than four percent. This is about $24 billion in apparel alone that analysts predict will continue to grow as people are becoming more health conscious. If the person wants to make some money, then getting into the sports apparel business can be rewarding. All the entrepreneur has to do is tie up with a major company then have the equipment to do the products or have it outsourced elsewhere. Having it done in another country is the trend in the manufacturing industry. This is because the costs of labor outside are much cheaper than doing it back home. The biggest market not only for sports apparel but a wide range of other products is China. As long as these suppliers follow the guidelines set by the client, there won’t be any problems with the flow of goods that arrive per season. Companies follow a certain standard when it comes to what is small, medium, large and extra large. However some people fall in between so getting one that is custom made is an alternative. The customer will have to be fitted first then use an existing design or come up with one so this can be made. Though this is done more often among triathletes, the same thing can be done to anyone who wants to do well in a sport. Manufacturers who come up with new designs each year also have to compete against other companies using new technology. Some designers are experimenting with clothes that have a microchip but have had better success by putting this into the shoe. Those who don’t want to get into the business of manufacturing sports apparel but still want to make money can just put up a shop instead. This will involve getting into a partnership with one of the major dealership to become a distributor or invite these firms to have a small space in the store. The sports apparel industry is a growing business and those who want to make money can either be a manufacturer or a distributor of these goods.

Tennis psychology the foundation of winning tennis

: The field of tennis psychology is not just common advice and tactical or mental tips. It is based on general and sports psychology and then applied to tennis specifically. There are many common elements in the psychology of tennis which can be found in other sports too. An athlete that wants to perform at his peak needs to learn: 1. How to refocus Many players start the match with good concentration but they drop their level of concentration because of disturbing outside events, pressure situations, emotional reactions to various events and so on. A player needs to learn how to quickly and effectively refocus to be able to play his best tennis. 2. How to control his arousal – to manage his intensity and body energy A player's arousal can be too high or too low and in both cases he is not able to play his best tennis. Arousal affects his body and mind abilities – a player may have too much muscle tension and his decisions are usually not tactically intelligent. Learning to find the »ideal state« is the key in controlling one's arousal and one of the most important aspects of tennis psychology. 3. What elements of the tennis game can a player control A player may get upset (and it happens often) about an event that he cannot control or even influence. For example – the noise of the planes flying over the court, windy conditions, court conditions, his opponent’s luck and so on. By being focused on these events he wastes his energy which could be used on elements that he can control – his attitude and effort, how he intends to play, … 4. How to control his thinking Negative thinking affects players much more than they are aware of. It affects body abilities in two ways – being aware of them (feeling tension) and being unaware (the pendulum experiment); moreover it evokes negative feelings – emotions that cloud the player's judgment and affect his body abilities – again. By being more and more aware of what he is thinking a player can then change his thoughts to a more positive and solution based thinking. The awareness of our thoughts is quite a challenge in the psychological approach to tennis. 5. How to use imagery Imagery or visualization is extremely useful in almost all aspects of the tennis game. A player can improve technique, strategy, physical abilities and his mental preparation of certain events. Another use of imagery is when a player misses a shot and then quickly sees in his mind how he hit the ball correctly. Using imagery is an incredibly efficient technique, not only in the psychology of tennis but in everyday life too. 6. How to build confidence Confidence is one of those elements where tennis psychology can help really quickly and with very simple tools. A player who is not confident will hesitate in his decisions, will be afraid to take risks and his shots will usually miss by just a little. Doubt can be seen in reality as small misses that happen regularly. When a player builds his confidence he is able to play at his best and doesn't lose his hope when a big challenge appears. 7. How to find and get rid of limiting beliefs Limiting beliefs are one of the most limiting and troublesome aspects of human's psyche. They are mostly deep in the subconsciousness and are sometimes hard to find. A limiting belief for example is when a player believes that he is not good in tie-breaks and he will then self-sabotage himself in those crucial moments to prove himself right. Having no limiting beliefs means that the player is in total acceptance of everything that happens. Outside events are just events with no meaning. The player accepts them and deals with them. 8. How to empty the mind – Inner Game principles to enter the zone There are three main principles of the Inner Game – quieting the mind, non-judgment and trusting the body. The player must first learn to apply them in training. And when he experiences these effects in training he knows what to look for in the match. He then plays the inner game – how to perform at his peak. These are the fundamentals of tennis psychology and by understanding these principles and applying them daily a player develops mental toughness. He knows how to apply the tools and as a very positive side effect gains a lot of self confidence. He now knows that he has ways of dealing with his own mind and that most of his competitors do not. He is aware that he has the edge in the most stressful situations in the match and that gives him inner strength and belief that he can persevere through tough matches.

The new face of camping

Camping has come a long way. For many, camping is not throwing up a tent, grabbing the fishing poles, lanterns, sleeping bags and cooler of food. Camping has become an art and is full of creature comforts. Campgrounds have also evolved. With modern amenities like HOT and cold running water, small convenience shops, even private golf courses and cable tv hookups, they are more like resort destinations. A new convenience that is popping up all over the camper world is electric scooters. Electric scooters are being accepted more and more at campgrounds and you can see them everywhere. Some campgrounds have taken it a step further and offer scooter rentals. Why have electric scooters enjoyed such an increase in popularity? Electric scooters are compact, convenient, and allow you to cover more ground than by walking alone. Electric scooters are compact and most can fold down for easy storage. Whether you have an RV or an SUV, your electric scooter will fold down and can fit without taking up a lot of space. Electric scooters afford those that love the outdoors the ability to keep enjoying it. If you have problems walking, standing for long periods of time, or have minimal back problems; electric scooters are your ticket to getting back to nature. With an electric scooter, you can hit the trails again. If you think about it, you can save money by adding one to your camping supplies. When you want to take those short trips, you don’t have to waste gas by taking the car, truck or RV. Hop on your scooter and save your gas money. With the cost of gas these days and no relief in sight, who knows how much money you will save by taking your electric scooter instead of your RV. If you have forgot something and need to run to the local mini-mart, just hop on your scooter and you’re there and back in minutes, and you still have the time and energy to enjoy the rest of your day. You’ve started the campfire and just realized you don’t have enough marsh-mellows. No problem, some electric scooters have lights on them, so jump on yours and get to the store and back in a flash. No one has to go without their “SMORES” today. Kids love electric scooters and what better way to get them to enjoy camping than to let them bring their scooter with them? With a kids electric scooter, you don’t have to worry about them complaining while out on a trail. Exploring can take on a whole new meaning when they have their scooters. Taking the scooter with you on a trail will ease the headache of hearing “I’m Tired” or “How Much Farther?”. They will be more into cruising ahead and will actually take in some sights. Overall, with camping joining the 20th Century, you can’t go wrong with the addition of an electric scooter to your camping ensemble. Keeping the kids entertained, giving back the freedom to the walking impaired and giving you more time to enjoy the outdoors are just some of the benefits of electric scooters. Take your electric scooter just about anywhere and see nature the way you never have before.

Selecting a good campsite

Let it be known that I’m an avid, happy camper and I love the outdoors. With that said, I’ve also met a lot of people who would love to try camping but don’t know where to start. It’s perfectly understandable that they wouldn’t want to go out and try something new without preparing for it, so I decided to write a short article that will provide some essential information for camping beginners, and send them on their way to experiencing and enjoying the joys of camping and the outdoors. If you’re just starting out camping, I would suggest visiting one of the plentiful public campgrounds that you can find in national and state parks. Always pick the one that’s nearest to your home if possible. These public campgrounds are usually run by government agencies like the Bureau of Land Management, the Army Corps of Engineers, etc. They are typically found along scenic spots and on vast lands that are set aside for preserving the natural environment, and for people who want to enjoy the outdoors. Where to find them? Going online is the best way to do so. Websites like Park Net and Reserve USA offer a vast database of information about ideal and available camping spots. Now that you’ve found your perfect campground, there’s more to learn. First, always stop by the campground office and check in when you arrive. Introduce yourselves and provide some necessary information, like the number of campers with you, how long you’re planning on staying, and whether you’re in a tent or an RV. You can also ask if you can take a drive through the area to find a suitable campsite. If the office has a map of the campground, you can use it to check the locations of important spots. Inform the attendants if you’d like a campsite close to the lake, or about any other preferred locations you might have. It’s not guaranteed that they can always accommodate you, but telling them about it as early as possible will let them make the necessary arrangements and increase the odds of you getting the location you want. You might also want to inquire about the camp rules and regulations during this time, and any other questions that you might have. You should also know what to look for when picking out your campsite. Ideally, choose a site where you can set up your tent on relatively high ground. This way, water will flow away from your tent when it’s raining, so your tent and everything else inside will remain dry. But avoid setting up your tent on a slope, either. Pick a site where the ground is high and level. You may also want to have some shade during the hotter parts of the day, so if you can, pick a spot near some trees. The only time when this is inadvisable, though, is when the weather shows likely signs of raining. Then you’d be risking the chance of becoming a target for lightning strikes. Other things to check for are water sources and cooking areas. You will need lots of water for cooking, washing, and drinking, so make sure you camp near a water source. Check out the locations of the cleaning stations, as well. Never use bathrooms or drinking fountains for washing dishes. Make sure also that your campsite has a grill and a picnic table with benches. A flat, wide area without any leaves or twigs nearby is also ideal for campfires and using stoves. Another important thing, especially if you have kids, is the location of any playgrounds or play areas. You might want to be near playgrounds, so that the kids won’t have to walk far and you can easily keep an eye on them, but if it’s peak season, the playgrounds will be sure to have lots of other children playing as well, so you might want to stay away from them to avoid the noise. It all depends on what your preferences are. You also need to look for locations where you can play ball games, or if you’re near a lake, go fishing, swimming, or boating. Experience will teach you a lot more than I could in this article, so the best advice I can give you, aside from the things I told you here, is to go out and start camping. Enjoy life outdoors!

Tips for planning a christmas ski vacation

Christmas is the perfect time to plan a ski vacation. It’s the peak of winter in most countries and the ski slopes are covered with snow. A white Christmas, the family all together, ski slopes to conquer by day and a warm fire in a ski chalet to look forward to at night; a Christmas ski vacation is the perfect way for any family to spend the Christmas holidays. Choosing a Ski Resort Ski slopes in different countries offer very different skiing experiences. In fact, it’s safe to say that no two ski vacations at different ski resorts could ever be the same. Some ski slopes are meant for very experienced skiers whereas others, which have gentler slopes, are more appropriate for beginners. Ski resorts that offer a variety of slopes of different complexities are best for families with smaller kids. Your budget is a major factor in deciding which ski resort you and your family choose to spend your Christmas vacation in. A ski-resort is by no means a cheap Christmas vacation idea. Ski resorts vary in their prices and many have peak-season and off-season rates. However, do keep in mind that Christmas is peak season at any ski-resort and their prices are likely to be steepest at this time. Despite the high prices, all ski resorts almost all over the world are likely to be fully booked during the Christmas holidays, so you need to make your plans much, much in advance. Doing a search on the internet is the best way to find different ski resorts and to compare the different packages they offer. Remember the earlier you start your search, the more choices you will have to avail of. Short list a few ski resorts that suit your needs and contact them to clarify other queries you may have. Once you’ve found the perfect ski resort that meets all your requirements and is also within your budget you may want to consider paying a down payment in order to book the requisite number of rooms for your family. It’s never too soon to start looking for you’re the perfect ski resortmencing your search a year in advance will give you a head start over all other families who have the same Christmas vacation plans. Looking for Santa Claus at the ski resort While looking for the perfect ski resort, don’t forget what this vacation is really all about. A Christmas ski vacation needs to combine the skiing fun with the spirit of Christmas. Without it, the vacation will end up being just a family skiing vacation, fun, but not Christmassy. When making your enquiries, expand your search to include the Christmas options in and around the area. Find out if there are any community activities that your family can participate in, even if it is in the town around the resort and not in the resort itself. Also, you may want to consider taking along stockings and stocking stuffers for the whole family. While carrying gigantic gifts for the children is downright inconvenient, stockings filled with little gifts are an ideal way of carrying the spirit of Christmas everywhere you go.

Bar hopping in vegas

Las Vegas. The name says it all. Vegas is a town where you can be whoever you want to be and do (pretty much!) whatever you want to do. In that sense, the city is often overwhelming to those who are going; many of the great aspects of Vegas are overlooked by visitors simply because there is SO much to do there. To that end, we've made this article as a guide to those who wish to hit the best bars that can be found in the city of sin. For those who wish for a touch of class and an old-school feel to their bar, visiting the Empire Ballroom is a must. This bar was modeled after a 1930's speakeasy-type bar, and its lush 16,000 square feet provide nothing but class and decadence. The bar has a number of private VIP rooms as well as a host of opportunities to get away from the dance floor with its outdoor patios. One thing to note about the ballroom: if you're not exactly ready for the night to end early, an after-party is hosted at the Empire that lasts from 3AM to 10AM, every weeknight! For a traditional Irish styled pub, you can do no better than J. C. Wooloughan's Irish Pub. They have a wide selection of spirits, including 32 different types of triple-distilled single malt whiskey. The bar follows a theme of race-horses, with several authentic pieces of memorabilia scattered throughout. The pub also features an outdoor beer garden for those who wish for a breath of fresh air. Looking for a low-key, hip club that is only known to few? Beauty Bar definitely will meet your expectations. Discretely labeled "Salon of Beauty" by its sign outside, you should not let the name fool you. The bar features a retro-style design with antique hair-dryer chairs providing most of the furniture. It's a very unique experience that should not be missed by one who wishes for a special Vegas trip. If what you're looking for from your Vegas trip is a let-it-all-hang-out, loose, wild experience, Coyote Ugly might be the bar for you. The bar is packed full of beautiful waitresses that spend their time pouring, laughing, and gyrating in an all-out show of a pure rock-n-roll sense. If you don't drink whiskey, you might want to skip this bar. The honky-tonk attitude and in-your-face antics of the bartenders is enough to provide a memorable experience for years to come, if you can remember it!

How to get a tennis ticket for wimbledon

Wimbledon has to be the top tennis tournament in the world, and every day they sell out, so wouldn’t you like to know how the people who get in manage to get Wimbledon Tickets? There are a number of ways that it is possible to get a Wimbledon ticket and hopefully this article will help you. The first thing to do is to join a Tennis Club, and make sure it is LTA Affiliated, because Tennis Clubs that are LTA affiliated have an annual allocation of Wimbledon tickets for Club members. Don’t just join and pay the subscription, instead get yourself known at the Club, especially the Hon Secretary and that will dramatically improve your chances of getting a ticket! Another way is to become a member of the Lawn Tennis Association Advantage Club [LTA], before the middle of February. As an Adult member your chances of coming up with tickets for either Centre Court, Court 1, or Court 2, are about one in five. The family leader in a Family membership has two chances in five of coming up in the ballot, and you are entered automatically. The Ballot is held at the beginning of March and you need to be a member of the LTA Advantage Club before the middle of February, and there are literally thousands of show court tickets available if you get lucky. There are other benefits at Wimbledon including a Dining Room for Advantage Members only, that can be pre-booked. Check out the LTA website. YOU NEED TO BE AWARE THAT TICKETS ARE STRICTLY NON-TRANSFERRABLE AND MUST NOT BE SOLD OR ADVERTISED FOR SALE ANYWHERE, UNLESS THE TICKETS ARE MARKED ‘DEBENTURE’. Tickets are also allocated to the members of the British Schools Tennis Association (BSTA). The All England Lawn Tennis Club itself has a ballot system, which has been running for over 80 years, and this is another way for the public to apply for tickets. You need however to realize that demand always exceeds supply, and there is a strict deadline. Go to the Wimbledon website for details. Next way is that you could queue outside the All England Club, and this is what thousands of people do every day during Wimbledon. There are about 500 tickets for Centre Court and Court One, and 500 for Court Two available to the public on a first come first serve basis, except the last four days on Centre Court and Court One. This could mean queueing from as early as six o’clock in the evening, and it is possible to see a queue of people with tents and sleeping bags from late in the afternoon. The earlier you are prepared to queue the better your chances are. Finally, there is Ebay, the National Newspapers Classified Ads, and even the chance to have lunch with John McEnroe or Boris Becker at a hefty premium. Just ensure the tickets you are buying, which will be extremely expensive, are Debenture tickets otherwise you may not get in. Wimbledon of all the ‘Grand Slam’ tournaments is really the Ultimate for Tennis fans and players, so go get a ticket for next year. If you want to check out a new game with is exciting, has all the shots that make a great tennis match then go to travel-tennis

Winter camping meals

Cold weather camping is much more harsh on your body than camping in warmer seasons, so it is important to place extra attention on taking care of yourself by staying warm and eating the right foods. If you are camping in cold weather, you should allow yourself an additional 1,000 calories per day in your diet. Winter camping meals and snacks should be very high in carbohydrates to fuel your body through the extreme cold and should also contain plenty of fats and proteins. Winter camping trips offer more flexibility for the types of foods you can pack because the cold temperatures are much friendlier to foods that may spoil quickly in the heat. Cooking and preparing your camping meals in the cold, however, is much more difficult. You will want to plan winter camping meals that are easy and quick to prepare and that are just as simple to eat. Plan on packing a good bit more food when camping in cold weather and pack several emergency meals as well. Instant soups are simple winter camping meals that help warm you up on a cold night. Bring along plenty of hot drinks, like cocoa or coffee, and a Coleman 14 cup percolator to keep your body temperature higher before you wrap up in your sleeping bag for the night. Lunch will most likely take place on the trail so plan easy to eat foods that are high in carbs and proteins to keep your energy and strength throughout the day. It is important to continue to eat all day long because your body will be burning calories at a rapid rate, not only trying to keep your body warm, but to produce energy to hike as well. High protein snacks like jerky, nuts, and trail mix are great for eating throughout the day regardless of the type of weather conditions you are hiking in, but are especially important winter camping foods. Dried fruits are also very beneficial to your body during strenuous cold weather activities like backpacking and hiking. Bring along plenty of raisins, trail mix, and fatty type snacks. Chocolate is even a good snack for winter camping and backpacking trips and it won’t melt along the trail! Camp cooking in the cold can be a tedious task, but it is very important to eat well and to stay warm. Plan your winter camping meals ahead of time and consider the fact that things take longer to heat in cold weather. Avoid raw vegetables because it will be nearly impossible to cook them at camp. You can prepare vegetables at home and simply warm them to save time. Always cook with a covered pot or pan to retain more heat in the cold and warm your meals faster. Consider hearty winter camping meals that can be prepared in a single dish and eaten with little effort. Prepared canned foods, like beef stew or chili, are great energy providers, but can be heavy to pack. Vary these heavier foods with light winter camping meal selections, like foil packets of tuna, pasta, and bagels, for a healthy menu for your cold weather camping adventures.
