The Canadian Crippler – Chris Benoit, his wife Nancy, and their 7-year-old son Daniel were found dead in their Fayetteville, Georgia home on June 25, 2007. The subsequent investigations revealed that Benoit murdered his wife by strangling her, and then killed his son before hanging himself in the house's weight room. According to the media speculations, the Benoit tragedy was mere negative effect of steroids; 'roid rage had played a part in the tragedy. The court papers released on June 2, 2007 revealed that the pro wrestler who strangled his wife and son and committed suicide last month bought injectable steroids excessively. According to the complaint filed by the Department of Drug Enforcement Administration, Dr. Phil Astin, Benoit’s doctor who has been charged with improperly prescribing drugs, prescribed a 10-month supply of anabolic steroids to Chris Benoit every three to four weeks between May 2006 and May 2007. Astin also prescribed testosterone for Benoit. The document states that Benoit was identified as an excessive buyer of injectable steroids. The affidavit also revealed that various controlled substances, including injectable anabolic steroids, were found in Benoit's home. The anabolic steroids found in Benoit's home led the investigating officials to wonder whether the tragedy was the negative effect of steroids; whether the drugs played a role in the killings. According to experts, the people taking steroids may experience the negative effect of steroids; steroids can cause paranoia, depression and violent outbursts known as “roid rage.” According to sources, Chris Benoit was a regular customer of MedXLife, a Florida-based, anti-aging clinic that had two of its owners pleaded guilty in April to illegal steroid distribution. The sources also revealed that several high profile wrestlers had been using anabolic steroids and consequently experiencing negative effect of steroids. HCG and the steroid stanozolol were often sent to the WWE star Eddie Guerrero in early 2005. Eddie died on Nov. 13, 2005, in a Minneapolis hotel room due to what a coroner later ruled as heart disease, complicated by an enlarged heart – i. e. negative effect of steroids – resulting from a history of anabolic steroid use.

Untreated strep throat can lead to serious complications
While sore throat is an ailment that clears on itself within a few days, strep throat often requires medical treatment with antibiotics. Physicians claim that in the absence of an appropriate medical treatment, strep throat can rapidly aggravate and lead to complications such as rheumatic fever, cardiovascular diseases or kidney affections. Before penicillin was discovered, infection with streptococcus bacteria could even cause life-threatening diseases. However, nowadays strep throat can be easily overcome with the means of specific antibiotic treatments. It is very important to understand that sore throat and strep throat are not the same thing. Sore throat is caused by infection with viral agents and its generated symptoms are mild. By contrast, strep throat is caused by infection with group A streptococcus bacteria and its generated symptoms are usually intense. Strep throat produces symptoms such as inflammation and swelling of the throat, cough, nausea, fatigue, high fever, enlargement of the tonsils and lymph nodes. While the symptoms of sore throat usually ameliorate within a few days in the absence of medical treatment, the symptoms of strep throat intensify gradually and can persist for more than a week. In many cases, untreated strep throat can lead to tonsillitis, otitis and scarlet fever. On the premises of a weak immune system, the infection can even become systemic, affecting the body on multiple levels. Strep throat is very contagious and it can be easily acquired in the flu seasons. Unlike in the case of sore throat, the symptoms of strep throat have a rapid onset and they are considerably more intense. Sometimes, clinical examinations alone can distinguish between sore throat and strep throat. By measuring patients’ body temperature and by examining the aspect of the tonsils, doctors are usually able to tell whether the infection is caused by viruses or bacteria. However, strep throat can be correctly diagnosed only with the means of laboratory tests. In order to determine the nature of the infection, doctors take a sample of mucus for analysis. If the illness is indeed caused by group A streptococcus bacteria, doctors usually recommend an appropriate medical treatment with antibiotics. Considering the fact that antibiotics can generate various side effects, physicians only prescribe these drugs when the illness is serious. If the throat inflammation doesn’t appear to be caused by infection with streptococcus bacteria, doctors usually recommend letting the illness heal naturally. If the symptoms of strep throat persist for more than a few days and appear to intensify, physicians may prescribe a treatment with penicillin or amoxicillin. These antibiotics have been successfully used to cure strep throat for decades and they are still effective in overcoming the illness in present. The treatment with antibiotics needs to be followed for more than 10 days in order to ensure a complete recovery. It is very important to respect the doctor’s indications and to correctly follow the prescribed medical treatment. If the treatment with antibiotics is prematurely interrupted, the infection is very likely to reoccur.

Steroid stacks beneficial or baneful
: You often go for steroid stacks, when you intend to bulk up your bodies using steroids nowadays. What are steroid stacks? Actually, steroid stacks are associated with Stacking, which is probably the most popular slang term among steroid users these days. Stacking is the practice of using steroids in combination with other steroids or drugs, and steroid stacks are the blend of two or more steroids (anabolic) that are often used to produces what’s called synergistic effect. But, why steroid stacks? Do they really help? Are they beneficial or baneful? These are the most common questions about steroid stacks that you are always keen to know the answers of. The primary reason for steroid stacks is effectiveness, which means that the effect of each anabolic steroid is amplified when it is stacked or used in combination of other anabolic steroid. Steroid stacks are very common in bodybuilding, where muscle builders use them to produce 30 or 40 pounds of muscles instead of two separate steroids producing 10 pounds of muscles separately. There are some muscle building steroids and growth hormone that do not give fine results singly, but give out outstanding outcomes when they are taken in combination with other anabolic steroids. So, steroid stacks are beneficial to enhance the effectiveness of anabolic steroids. Often, steroid stacks help enhancing the results of the steroid cycles. They are usually taken for a period ranging from 6-12 weeks or even more. Steroid stacks may be the blend of two anabolic steroids or of anabolic steroids with other drugs. Deca or Primobolan is one of the most common steroids used in steroid stacks. Some of the most popular steroid stacks are — Nandrolone Decanoate & Testosterone, Nandrolone Decanoate & Testosterone & Methandrostenolone, Boldenone & Testosterone, Boldenone & Trenbolone, Trenbolone & Testosterone, Trenbolone & Methandrostenolone, Stanozolol & Testosterone, Stanozolol & Trenbolone, Stanozolol & Methenolone Enanthate, Methenolone Enanthate & Testosterone, and Methenolone Enanthate & Methandrostenolone. However, steroid stacks have more baneful effects. When you are on steroid stacks, your livers have to work harder to metabolize and remove bulks of steroids from your bodies. Heavy steroid use literally damages your livers over time. Oral steroid stacks have very harmful effects on your livers. Hence, if you stay on multiple-steroid stacks year-round, you are more exposed to dangerous consequences and severe side effects.

How what you eat effects your unborn fetus s teeth scarborough dentists
: Any Scarborough dentist will be able to tell you that what you eat can affect your fetus, and in particular the development of your baby’s jaw and future teeth. It’s not common for babies to be born with teeth, but this does happen in every one out of 2,000 to 3,000 births. These kinds of teeth are called neonatal teeth and are usually an isolated incident but can be associated with various syndromes like; Ellis-van Creveld syndrome Hallermann-Streiff syndrome Pierre Robin syndrome Soto's syndrome So the pediatrician who finds natal teeth at birth may inquire about having your baby tested for these conditions. A Scarborough dentist will tell you that cleaning your infants teeth can be a simple process, whether natal teeth or neonatal teeth, which can erupt as soon as 30 days after birth. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe down baby’s teeth and gums, then inspect their tongue and gums on a regular basis to make sure that the teeth aren’t causing undue irritation. These unusual teeth can be wobbly and not well attached so the doctor may wish to remove them at birth. Nutrients for Your Fetus’s Teeth and Bones Before birth however, you’ll be busy growing that baby and it needs lots of nutrients. Most women are surprised to learn that they don’t actually need to eat for two as the common saying goes, but they do need to find highly nutritious foods to help give the fetus all the vitamins and nutrients it needs to develop. Some excellent vitamins and nutrients your Scarborough dentist will recommend to take for yourself and your baby during and right before pregnancy are folic acid, calcium, vitamin D, and iron. Folic acid and its counterpart found in nature, folate, can be extremely important for a growing fetus. Research has shown that not only will it prevent neural tube defects in a baby, but will help to prevent cleft palate while the jawbone and upper palate are forming in the fetus. To get the maximum benefit you need to take folic acid before you get pregnant, about 400 micrograms a day. Any good vitamin will include at least this much Folic Acid. Calcium, of course is needed to build strong bones, even though your baby’s bones will still be soft when he or she is born. You’ll still want to take a lot of calcium during pregnancy to ensure that the baby’s bones form properly, especially in the face and jaw so they will be able to chew properly and will be able to support their first teeth. Doctors recommend about 1,300 milligrams a day of calcium while pregnant. In addition you’ll want to take Vitamin D, because it helps the body absorb and use calcium properly. Lastly, Iron is important for women and babies during pregnancy. It will help keep you from developing anemia since your blood will be shared with the fetus. The baby is also looking to store up a large amount of iron, several months supply, for its first few months of life. In addition be certain to keep up with your regular flossing and brushing. Scarborough dentists and other dentists around the world are starting to agree that cavities can be a disease that affects the rest of the body. After all, an infection of a very bad cavity can work its way to your brain and even your heart. So keep flossing and stay healthy.

Death on the catwalk
In 2006, the organizers of the annual Madrid Fashion Show shocked the industry by issuing a ban on overly thin models. The organizers used the international standard for body mass index (BMI) to measure and determine if a model is within the accepted weight range based on height. The recent death of a South American fashion model due to starvation is seen as the reason for the ban. According to the organizers, they turned away 30 percent of models and other applicants who were clearly underweight. The main reason for the said ban was to highlight the growing epidemic of anorexia among models. Anorexia is defined as a psychosis disorder characterized by body image distortion , excessively low body weight, and irrational fear of gaining weight. One famous case of anorexia is that of Karen Carpenter, the famous singer who died in 1983 after a long battle with her disorder. Her death brought the problem of anorexia to the attention of the public. The flip side of this disorder is also getting much attention not only in the fashion industry but also in medical circles. The number of cases of bulimia, an eating disorder and psychological condition, have increased steadily over the years. This disorder is characterized by recurrent binge eating that is followed by depression, vomiting, guilt, and self-condemnation. Binge eaters “punish” themselves by throwing up everything they ate; by starving themselves; or through excessive physical exercise. On famous case of bulimia involved the late Princess Diana. In a 1995 BBC interview, she admitted to having been diagnosed with bulimia. In that interview, Princess Diana said: “I had bulimia for a number of years. And that's like a secret disease. You inflict it upon yourself because your self-esteem is at a low ebb, and you don't think you're worthy or valuable. You fill your stomach up four or five times a day - some do it more - and it gives you a feeling of comfort. It's like having a pair of arms around you, but it's temporarily, temporary. Then you're disgusted at the bloatedness of your stomach, and then you bring it all up again. And it's a repetitive pattern which is very destructive to yourself.” Like Princess Diana, most bulimics become compulsive eaters and later experience weight fluctuations. Binge eating is cause not by intense hunger but by the depression, stress and anxiety, and other distresses experienced by the bulimic. Some of the more common symptoms of bulimia include: Secrecy and self-denial regarding the problem of eating disorder; Odd eating behavior or excessive consumption of certain food; Excessive, rigid exercise; Stomach pain and other intestinal ailments; and Frequent vomiting after meals. The treatment of eating disorders is now one of the major concerns of the U. S. Department of Health, as well as other health agencies around the world. In the United Kingdom, bulimia-related mortality accounts for 10% of deaths among mentally ill individuals. The records show that at least 18% of deaths among the mentally ill is due to anorexia. If diagnosed early, these eating disorders can be successfully treated. Aside from psychotherapy, other treatments for anorexia and bulimia include behavior modification, cognitive therapy, and the use of anti-psychotic drugs. It takes professional care and personal determination to end the struggle with anorexia and bulimia. More than what is fed to the stomach, more attention should be given to what is fed to the minds of patients. Winning the battle against eating disorders is about reclaiming one's self-esteem, and not just about managing one's weight or eating habits.

Treating acute sinusitis
You know that your cold is getting better but suddenly after a few days it seemed to get worse. You experience pain in the face. You have fever, runny nose, and thick yellow or greenish nasal discharge. If you think you have this symptoms you have to consult your physician immediately because you can be suffering from sinusitis. People often regard weeks of colds and fever as a simple sign of colds. But what people often forget to understand is that this simple case of colds can result to sinusitis. When a person has sinusitis this means that the sinuses are inflamed. The failure of normal mucus transport and reduced sinus ventilation are the major factors contributing to the development of sinusitis. Sinusitis can affect the daily activities of a person. He can miss work and have low quality of output. Sinusitis is also the reason why many students miss school each year. The good news is experts have continuously made research to address this problem and fortunately they have discovered new ways of treating and preventing sinusitis. Most people who reports symptoms of sinusitis do not need aggressive treatment, hence, they can be cured using home remedies. When you have acute sinusitis treatment can include hydration, nasal wash, decongestants, expectorants and medication for mild pain and fever reduction among others. Drinking plenty of water can open and hydrate the sinuses. Inhaling steam two to four times a day can also help. If you think that steam is not enough long steamy showers, facial saunas and vaporizers can also be a good idea. A nasal wash can also help remove mucus from the nose. For short term treatment, decongestants may be used. However, they thicken secretions in the nasal passages and reduce the ability to clean-up bacteria. It is important to understand that the symptoms of common cold and sinusitis are almost the same. Therefore, if the infection persists for less than five to seven days then the sinus problem do not require antibiotic. If, however, the infection does not improve after five to seven days, the infection is likely caused by bacteria and antibiotic can be taken to cure it. Usual treatment for acute sinusitis is ten to fourteen days. If your sinus infection does not improve for quite a while, your doctor can prescribe a treatment of several antibiotics. Progress in sinusitis treatment over the years has provided hope for sinusitis sufferers. With the advancements in medicine today, sinusitis can be immediately treated before it gets worse. Thus, people should not dismiss a simple case of colds immediately. Anything beyond the usual symptoms of cold should be given proper attention.

Anxious are we
The dictionary defines anxiety as distress of mind caused by fear of danger or misfortune. It is also described as a state of apprehension and psychic tension occurring in some forms of mental disorder. It is usually described as the feeling of uneasiness caused by anticipation of future events, be it planned or otherwise. Everybody, at one point in their lives, has experienced some form of anxietymon events like an upcoming exam or thesis presentation; or when a loved one gets sick; or when you go to unfamiliar places --- all these may cause you to feel fidgety and worried. However, extreme distress over the littlest things may be considered as a disorder and needs to be treated. Other symptoms of anxiety can include palpitations; shortness of breath; sweating; trembling; sense of choking; chest pain; nausea or stomach upsets; dizziness; numbness or tingling; and chills or hot flashes. So what causes anxiety disorders? Scientists attribute it to a lot of factors, four of which are genetics, personality, brain chemistry, and environmental factors. Researchers theorize that family history contributes to a high likelihood of someone developing an anxiety disorder. If one was brought up around a household of worriers, the chances of a person growing up to be a worrier too will be very high. Personality plays a big part as well. People who have low self-regard and have poor coping skills are also likely to develop anxiety disorders. Anxiety disorders are associated with high levels of brain chemicals, called neurotransmitters, in the brain. Neurotransmitters are chemical messengers that transmit impulses. An imbalance on certain neurotransmitters may alter the way the mind would react to different situations, leading to anxiety. Any form of trauma or stressful situations such as abuse, accidents, or death may lead to anxiety disorders. Stress and anxiety go hand in hand. Anxiety levels heighten with constant exposure to extreme stress. Also, the constant use or sudden withdrawal from addictive substances like alcohol, caffeine and nicotine may also worsen anxiety. Oftentimes, worrying too much leads to anxiety panic attacks. These are surges of overwhelming fear that come out of nowhere and for no apparent reason. It affects not only the way the brain functions, but it also triggers changes in our body's major glands. The glands produce different kinds of stimulants and hormones double-time, flooding body cells simultaneously, causing the sufferer to feel the need to either run, get out, or hide. This is far worse than the regular anxiety that people feel when they're stressed out as this is based on irrational fear. Stress management may help prevent anxiety disorders from developing. One good way to manage stress is to improve your lifestyle. Get adequate amount of sleep, making sure that the body is well-rested after a full day's work. Intake of stimulants such as caffeine and nicotine containing products should be decreased as they would not help alleviate your stress, and may even aggravate your condition. Performing relaxation exercises will also help you during stressful times as it will relieve tense muscles. Last but not the least, don't forget to take a breather. Relax. Anxiety is our body's natural reaction to stress. It's up to us if we let it take over our lives. To keep it short and simple, when you're feeling anxious – stop, take a deep breath, count to ten, and relax.

Checking out inferiority complex
Whether you're fat or thin, black or white, yellow or brown, big or small --- somehow, in some little way --- you might have had thoughts of inferiority. The self-defeating attitude of comparing ourselves with others...the little negative things we tell ourselves only serve to put our own self-image in a bad light. We sometimes tell ourselves that we are not good enough, pretty enough, or smart enough. And when this sense of “being less in value compared to others” controls our behavior, it can already be considered an inferiority complex. An “inferiority complex” or extremely low self esteem is a concept we are all familiar with. Chances are, we know someone or even we ourselves suffer from this complex. People with low self-esteem are more likely to be irritable or aggressive. They may also be more likely to have feelings of resentment, alienation, and suffer depression. An inferiority complex, in the fields of psychology and psychoanalysis, is a feeling that one is inferior to others in some way. It is often unconscious, and is thought to drive afflicted individuals to overcompensate, resulting either in spectacular achievement or extreme antisocial behavior. It is a fomr of psychological and emotional disability that adversely affects a person's well-being. The subconscious mind of a man still carries the same feelings of being weak compared to others and that's why he felt worthless compared to others. The man labeled himself with labels like being weak, inadequate, stupid, or clumsy. These labels accompanied him everywhere and although they were buried deep into his subconscious mind, they took control of his behavior and feelings. He tried to convince himself that he is fine now and that he doesn't have a reason to feel inferior again but this never worked, his subconscious mind needs much more than this in order to stop making him feel inferior. Usually rejection by family and friends, or exceedingly high expectations is often the root cause of an inferiority complex. A man's view of himself is based on the things he or she is being told, the specific situations that a man is experiencing, and the way he or she is treated. Inferiority complex is deeply rooted in the man's childhood. Children suffering from an inferiority complex isolate themselves from others and become preoccupied with their feelings of inferiority. As they grow up they are unable to face failures and they feel they don't have what it takes to succeed in life. Years later, when a child grows up and starts to be more socially adept, opportunities to overcome low self-esteem increase. The once-insecure child can strive to excel in school or in sports. Yet in the back of that child's mind, those old self-defeating thoughts might still lie dormant and ready to resurface during the next encounter with failure or put-downs from other people. People who suffer from an inferiority complex can also become obsessed with their weaknesses. They always keep thinking that others are superior to them. They often get nervous while talking to others, especially if the opposite person is talking confidently. Nature doesn't believe in similarity. It creates creatures and objects, human beings included, with such unmistakable uniqueness. Even twins are different from each other in so many ways. perhaps the key to overcome the sense of low self-worth is to begin taking stock of our good and unique features or qualities. By developing those qualities, skills, and attributes, we are able to “shine” and achieve identity and distinction. Indeed, inferiority complex is an irrational and unhealthy condition. Every person on the planet has at least one unique quality that is superior to others. Given that fact, how can one be inferior?

Facts on opalescence teeth whitening system
Facts on Opalescence Teeth Whitening System People like their pearly whites to be both pearly and white. It sounds lame but it is true. People love to take care of their teeth. One might even say that people are particularly vain concerning their teeth. This is because when meeting people, the teeth are definitely the first thing to get noticed. We smile in order to show people a glimpse of our soul. There are people who depend on their smiles for their living. This is the reason behind the success of such products as the Opalescence teeth whitening system. The Opalescence teeth whitening system lets people take the system home and do the whitening themselves. This might seem like unnecessary work for some people, but for others, it means convenience. People today do not have the time to go to the dentist for teeth whitening. Some just choose to get a tan instead of having their teeth whitened. This is the reason why the Opalescence teeth whitening system is so sought after. Convenience is one of the things that people look for today. How does the Opalescence teeth whitening system work? First of all, you have to know that the Opalescence teeth whitening system is a professional-grade bleaching system. This means that it can whiten your teeth faster than other over the counter teeth whitening systems. This is because of the fact that most over the counter teeth whitening systems contain only about 3 to 10 percent hydrogen peroxide. However, the Opalescence teeth whitening system has a 38 percent concentration of hydrogen peroxide. While most teeth whitening systems today require the use of a bleaching light in order to “activate” the product, the Opalescence teeth whitening system is the first product which lists the use of the light as “optional”. People like this because it is often the case that the cost of the bleaching light is undeniably higher than the cost of the actual product. Another interesting fact about this is that lately, many dentists are finding out that the “studies” regarding the use of bleaching lights rarely do prove that the light is needed to activate the hydrogen peroxide. Although you can take the Opalescence teeth whitening system home, it is still advisable that you get a professional to whiten your teeth. This is because the Opalescence teeth whitening system works best when in the hands of a professional. About 90 minutes is required from preparation to the actual procedure. Think of it: just one and a half hours for you to have whiter teeth! Besides giving you whiter teeth, the opalescence teeth whitening system also gives you other benefits. While some teeth bleaching systems may give you sensitive teeth and thus, forever deny you the pleasure of eating ice cream, the opalescence teeth whitening system actually minimizes sensitivity. This means that you do not have to sacrifice the pleasure of eating certain foods in order to have a great smile. Another complaint that people have with common bleaching agents is the fact that these often cause teeth to become vulnerable to cavities. However, the opalescence teeth whitening system actually strengthens the enamel, making it harder and decreases the likelihood of cavities. The opalescence teeth whitening system can give great benefits to whoever uses the product. You get whiter teeth in a way that’s convenient and painless. So what are you waiting for?

Discover how vitamins supplements can affect your life
Vitamin supplement or supplements are very important for us because if we do not intake enough vitamins required for our bodies, the vitamin supplement will substitute for the shortage of the quantity of vitamins in our system. Of course, the virtually obvious benefit to consuming multi vitamin supplements is convenience. It is far quicker for somebody to acquire one dose of a multi vitamin supplement that incorporates all of the essential vitamins compared to consuming each one one by one. This is especially the case for children as it could be arduous for them to acquire a large number of vitamin supplements but one dose of a multi vitamin supplement is far easier. Vitamins diet supplements are supposed to improve your physical well being by making sure you get your recommended amounts of vitamins, or even more than what is needed. It should be used in addition to a healthy diet, so everyone should take vitamin supplements in moderation. However, some medical conditions make it difficult for our bodies to absorb certain vitamins so a vitamin dietary supplement certainly has an important role to play when it is truly needed. Nutritious content claims for dietary supplement vitamin describe the level of extraordinary type of vitamin or vitamins in that supplement. For instance, agreeing to a lot of health organizations, a dietary supplement vitamin with at least twelve milligrams per serving of vitamin C could have the following on its label” "Superb source of vitamin C." To make the decision more easier there are now a number of multi vitamin supplements made for particular people. For instance, there are multi vitamin supplements that are planned for children. These multi vitamin supplements contain the particular nutrients that children need for them to grow and acquire properly. Pregnant women have singular nutrient demands to assure that their baby gets the indispensable nutrients and there are multi vitamin supplements developed for pregnant women. If vitamin supplement ratings are anything to go by, supplements will continue to grow in popularity over the coming years, and many people could enjoy a wide range of benefits from such products. However, vitamins and supplements can have both pros and cons, and in order to avoid the cons and promote the pros it is important to follow some simple rules when taking any sort of supplement or vitamins. A few precautions will ensure that you really benefit from your supplement intake instead of damaging your he It is crucial to consider the contents of any multi vitamin supplement prior consuming too many. Many vitamins can be poisonous if too much is assimilated and this can occur more easily with multi vitamin supplements as a few of the content may be unnoticed. The labeling of the actual portion of the recommended daily allowance for each vitamin in a multi vitamin supplement should be clearly labeled and must be evaluated prior to a person acquires them. Always seek professional medical advice prior to accepting any multi vitamin supplement if there is any question as to the benefits of the contents.

Ways that you can avoid the triggers of cravings when you are quitting smoking
Another cigarette goes off the box... before he knew it, Dan was puffing away another cigarette. Dan used to say “But you don’t understand... my work just gets to me, I need something for my stress! People there are smoking in front of me, quitting smoking it’s not as easy you think it is, but somehow I’ll quit later when my job stabilizes”. You see Dan is just like another smoker, with a weak faith and commitment to quit smoking. Many smokers seem to face this problem. If you’re trying to quit smoking, I’m sure you’ve came across this path at least once in your life again. The stress is just too much that you need to keep smoking. Then one day, when you decided to really quit smoking, your peers are smoking in front of you, or that you happened to be at a wrong place at the wrong time where there are others smoking. Second hand smoke starts crawling into your lungs, the nicotine in your body wakes itself up alerting you of the addiction you wish you didn’t have. I guess it doesn’t take a genius to figure out what’s next. You may be probably already lightning up a cigarette to “soothe” the addiction to avoid the irritation. You see these are “triggers” which will be responsible for your failure for quitting smoking. If you only knew that… Triggers Of Cravings And Urges Are Avoidable If You Take Precaution! Here are some ways which you may avoid the cravings in the process of quitting smoking: • Excuse yourself from the crowd If you’re caught with your peers in the middle of them smoking, excuse yourself for awhile... I used to using the excuse of going to the washroom a lot, until I joked with my friends that I have a bladder problem. After that, take 10 deep breaths slowly and relax until you’re ready enough. • Avoid places which allows smoking Distance yourself away from smoking places such as bars. Instead spend more time in places where smoking is prohibited such as the museums, theaters, churches, libraries, etc • Do not drink coffee or tea Drinking Coffee or Tea tends to arouse and enhances the cravings for nicotine almost immediately. Avoid them if you’re on a plan to quit smoking. • Exercise People seemed to discard this away almost immediately at the sight of the word “Exercise” Most people would think that they’re too tired to exercise, or whatever excuse they can give because their plain lazy. In fact; most successful people in the world never told you that exercise is partially responsible for their success. This is because exercise is not suppose to drain your energy, on the contrary, exercise suppose to boost your energy. With better energy, you will be more equipped to quit smoking. Too many smokers failed to quit smoking most of the time due to the addiction and irritation or withdrawal symptoms. Thus, they must learn how to overcome this.
Do you need a testosterone supplement to gain a lean physique
As you explore the various supplements designed to help you achieve greater results with your bodybuilding efforts, you are sure to be confronted with the great testosterone supplement debate. Do you need testosterone supplements? Are testosterone supplements safe? This debate has been going on for some time now. There are testosterone supplements that are safe, but they are typically made of all natural ingredients, and do not contain anabolic steroids. All bodybuilding organizations ban the use of anabolic steroids, and the FDA bans over the counter supplements that contain anabolic steroids as well. When using natural testosterone supplements, there are no side effects - under the right conditions. You see, you can have a testosterone level that is normal, low, or high. If it is low or high, there is a negative impact on your health and your bodybuilding efforts. Bodybuilders should strive for a normal testosterone level, and the level of your testosterone can only be determined by a visit to your doctor, with a simple blood test. It is important to realize that a high testosterone level does not result in bigger muscles or better performance. Only a normal level of testosterone can accomplish this. When excess testosterone is detected by your body, it stops production of its own testosterone. It also turns the excess testosterone into DHT, which is responsible for baldness and leads to prostate problems. The body can also turn excess testosterone into estrogen, which is a female hormone, which can result in an appearance that a male bodybuilder definitely does not want. It does all of this, and you get absolutely zero bodybuilding rewards from it. Typically, when a bodybuilder is using testosterone supplements, without even knowing if he has a low testosterone level, it is because he has been misinformed concerning the benefits - or lack of benefits - of an increased testosterone level. If you aren't sure whether you need a testosterone supplement or not, you should first visit your doctor for that blood test. Talk to him about your bodybuilding efforts, and how testosterone affects the building of muscles - and how too much and too little testosterone have a negative effect on your efforts. If you are in your teens or twenties, you can probably save yourself some money on that doctor's visit. This is when your testosterone production is at its highest, and you most likely have a normal level of testosterone. However, if you are over thirty, and you are serious about bodybuilding, a visit to your doctor for that blood test to determine whether you need a testosterone supplement is definitely in order.

Tips on choosing the right vitamins supplements
In today's very accelerated paced world we do not eat a suitable diet all of the time. Whenever you conduce a busy life and do not acquire sufficient vitamins for your body to function properly then you should be compensating with natural vitamin supplements. Still, a good diet based on foods with high density of vitamins is always a better solution than supplements. But when a diet is not plenty, dietary supplement vitamin can be the answer. Vitamins are the most common diet nutritional supplements; they are required by the body for essential metabolic reactions. Different vitamins have different uses and can have multiple reactions and functions. There are thirteen human vitamins divided into two groups: the nine water-soluble vitamins (eight B vitamins and vitamin C) and the four fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, and K). Obsessive compulsive disorder when thinking or doing it once is not enough
Aside from being mega-rich and famous, what do David Beckham and Leonardo di Caprio have in common? Both suffer from Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder is an anxiety disorder that is characterized by an obsessive or distressing thought. It may also involve compulsions or “rituals.” It is such a serious concern that event the World Health Organization has labeled OCD as among the top 10 most disabling illnesses faced by society today. In the United States alone, it is estimated that 3.3 million people are suffering from OCD. The football superstar David Beckham once said in an interview that he had been struggling for years with OCD. He said that he was obsessed with getting everything in a straight line or having objects in pairs. He revealed that every time he went to a hotel, he had to keep all leaflets and books inside a cabinet before he can relax. The multi-awarded actor, Leonardo di Caprio said that there was a time that he avoided stepping on cracks and other very specific things. It is true that most people can't stand living in an untidy house, which is quite normal. But what if you had to repeatedly align all the chairs and tables? What if you had to make sure that there were exactly seven cups in a row in the cupboard? Or you insist on making the middle part of the sofa perfectly squared towards the television? Others “obsess” on other things like checking if the lights were turned off, which is done not once, but several times throughout the day. There are individuals who actually worry about having knives and other sharp objects at home, thinking that they might hurt someone with these instruments. Even more distracting to the daily routine is the obsession with cleaning one's hands. Somehow, some people can't stop themselves from rushing to the bathroom to wash their hands over, and over, and over again. These types of behavior or symptoms of anxiety have been called a lot of names but none seems to fit the bill. People have called it depression, phobia, over-worrying, or panic. More that just being symptoms of stress and anxiety, these actuations point out to a more serious psychiatric condition Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, or OCD. It is true that a little anxiety doesn't hurt. Anxiety is what some scientists call an “evolutionary survival mechanism.” There is a big difference between just knowing that a hungry tiger is outside your tent and having enough anxiety to prompt you to flee the potential danger. But how do you know when your stress and anxiety over objects, thoughts, situations, or events are serious enough to be considered as OCD? When a reaction is recurrent, persistent or repetitive --- it may be signs of OCD. It is also important to define if a person's reactions are obsessive or compulsive. An obsession is a recurrent or persistent thought that may not even be related to real-life problems or situations. The obsessive thoughts are intrusive and cause distress on a person. On the other hand, a compulsion is a repetitive behavior that drives a person to act in response to an obsession. These repetitious acts are done by the person to control or manage the stress or perceived danger brought about by the obsession. Clearly, when an obsession or compulsion disturbs a person's life, causes distress, and takes up ore than an hour per day ---- these may be classified under OCD. In the 14th to 16th centuries, the obsessive-compulsive behavior was actually believed to have been caused by the devil. Recurring sexual, blasphemous and other obsessive thoughts were considered to be the “work of the devil” and, thus, needed to be cured through exorcism. While many today consider OCD as a psychological disorder, there are scientists who believe that abnormalities in the brain or a streptococcal infection may cause the disorder. People suffering from OCD have sought anxiety relief by using antidepressant prescriptions. These medications help make serotonin more available in some parts of the brain. Serotonin is a substance inside the brain that helps regulate anger, aggressions, mood, anxiety, and even sexual desire and appetite for food. Fluoxetine, usually sold under the brand name Prozac, has become one of the most commonly prescribed medications for OCD sufferers. For some patients, drugs are needed because of the severity of the condition which is both time-consuming and emotionally draining. Other means of anxiety disorder treatment include behavioral therapy and cognitive therapy, which includes exposure and ritual prevention or ERP. Indeed, people with obsessive-compulsive disorder cannot ignore or even act their way out of it, even if they are as good as Di Caprio. But with a little attention and professional health care, a OCD sufferer can slowly but surely address this condition and kick off those obsessions and compulsions like Beckham.
Shifty eyes and quick hands kleptomania
Not all thieves are Jean Valjean. Nor are all thieves the type that wear business suits and spout promises every election year. Just as not all thieves are the same, not every thief steals for the same reasons. Some do it out of necessity, such as the Jean Valjean who merely wanted a piece of bread to satisfy his hunger. Others do it for monetary gain, whether for themselves or for others. Others steal as an act of rebellion or defiance, challenging authority by violating the concept of ownership, a fundamental component of the law. For some, the problem relates to a mental health disorder and they literally can't stop themselves from doing so. When mental health is inextricably linked to someone's stealing, most people would probably not be mistaken in labeling that person as having kleptomania. Taking the meaning from the translation of the Greek term, kleptomania, is a form of psychosis that causes a person to impulsively steal things. The items targeted are always tangible and are rarely too large for the patient to effectively hide under normal circumstances. There is no concrete data on whether hard monetary value plays any part in the impulse of the person. Most statistics reflect that the items being stolen rarely ever have a pattern to them, though some consistencies have been known to occur. Most experts have come to an agreement that a majority of kleptomaniacs steal “for the sake of stealing,” and only in rare circumstances will monetary value or personal inclinations determine what, exactly, is being stolen. In general, kleptomaniacs are simply unable to control the impulse to steal objects and active attempts to prevent those impulses often results in overwhelming stress and anxiety. Of course, attempting to prevent it is only possible if the kleptomaniac is actually aware of the theft. In a number of cases, the patient will have no idea that he has stolen an item until after the fact. Legally, kleptomania is not considered a viable defense. This is primarily because kleptomaniacs can be aware that a theft is taking place. Also, there is very little evidence-gathering methods available that can prove whether a person was aware during a theft or not. However, some territories will accept it as a legal defense, provided that the patient has an established history of lack of awareness. Kleptomania is often seen to be closely associated with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), though this is not always the case. Most only relate the kleptomania to OCD when the stolen items are being hoarded or kept, which generally connotes that the items were stolen for their actual or potential value, rather than for the sake of being stolen. Some kleptomaniacs exhibit signs and symptoms that point to OCD behavior, but it is often left up to the judgment of the person administering the therapy to determine whether this is a part of the kleptomania or a sign of OCD being in the background. Statistically speaking, a vast majority of cases of kleptomania are actually independent of OCD, with the common percentages of the two disorders coinciding being 2.2 to 5.9 percent. For treatment, kleptomaniacs are often subjected to the same methods as pyromaniacs, though geared to better suit the nature of the problem. This means that the most common approach used is cognitive behavior modification, though other methods may also be used. Serotonin-uptake inhibitors can be used as a stand-alone answer, or in conjunction with other techniques. Mood stabilizers have also been used as a means of chemically counteracting the impulses, though results have shown a degree of variance.
