“I have a hard time with the concept of God. I was not brought up in a religious family. I believe there is something beyond myself, but I just don’t know how to think of it or experience it.” “I was brought up in family where God was portrayed as judgmental and punishing. I can’t even hear the word ‘God’ without feeling anxious. How am I supposed to open to God when I believe that God is controlling?” “How can I believe in God when there are so many bad things that happen to people? If there really is a God, then why does He let these things happen?” “God as a man just does not work for me. The men in my life have been mostly angry and controlling. I don’t feel safe opening to a male god.” These are a few of the many comments I hear from my clients as I work with helping them open to a personal source of spiritual guidance. The New Testament is very clear regarding what God is: John 4:24 “God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” 1 John 4:8 He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.” 1 John 4:16 “God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him. John tells us that “God is Spirit” and “God is love.” He tells us that when we are being loving, we are within God and God is within us. My personal experience is that God is love, peace, joy, and truth, and that God is everywhere, both within us and all around us. When our hearts are open to love, compassion and kindness toward ourselves and others, we experience the fullness of God within us and the safety of being within God. My experience is that God is always here guiding us toward our highest good. One of the ways I help my clients to access the wisdom that God has for us each and every moment is to imagine a spiritual being that is here just for you. This can be a Teacher, a mentor, a guardian angel, a beloved relative who has passed away, or the highest, wisest part of yourself – your own higher self. By opening to learning with a wise and loving being who wants nothing more than to guide you toward your joy and the full manifestation of yourself, you open to being guided by the love and wisdom of God. This guidance is your birthright. We were not dumped alone on the planet to fend for ourselves. Yet you will not have an experience of this love and guidance until you open to learning from God. My clients who practice opening to learning with a spiritual source of love and wisdom discover for themselves the truth of God. They are no longer caught in beliefs that do not served them – that God is judgmental, controlling and punishing; that God does not exist; that God will never be there for them personally; that they have to earn God’s love; that God can stop people from harming each other. You will know God when you open your heart to learning about loving actions toward yourself and others. When your primary intention is to learn about how to love yourself and others, rather than to keep on trying to get love or avoid pain, you will have a personal experience of God. If the term “God” is a negative trigger for you, then change it to Spirit, or Higher Power, or whatever works for you. God is not a being who cares about a name. God is the ever-present experience of love, compassion, truth, peace and joy that is always available for you whenever you choose to open your heart.

How to plan a great vacation
Making sure your vacation goes according to plan is not difficult to do, but it does need to be planed carefully. First you need to decide where to go, this year I have decided to go to Holland for my vacation. Once you have decided where you want to go on vacation you can start to plan the things you want to see and do. In Holland I am interested in the Van Gogh museum, the Rembrandt museum and the Casino. I have always enjoyed casinos, so this is going to be my first chance to go to a casino in Europe, so how can I pass up the chance to play some European Roulette, and I have been practicing at an online casino, ok I have to admit I have also been "practicing" poker and blackjack, please don’t tell my wife. After you have figure out where you want to go and what you want to do when you are there you can get a feel for where you want your hotel to be. There are many different websites that offer the best prices on hotels, so make sure to check several of them before making a final decision. Most of these sites will offer pictures of the hotel facilities and the different rooms. After looking at the hotels pick the top 3 and do a search on the internet for them. Try to find reviews from people that have stayed there before. The hotels site is always going to tell you how great the hotel is, but if someone were annoyed enough to trash a place or tell you how great it was, then you can be pretty sure they are telling you the truth. The first hotel I was looking at for my Amsterdam trip said it was close to the center of the city, in a nice area, but reading reviews from former patrons told me the area was filled with drug addicts and homeless, and this is not really what I want to see on my vacation, so I found a much nicer location. It is a little farther from the city center but it is near the museums we want to go to, so by being closer to them we can get up early walk to the museums and spend the rest of the time walking around looking at the shops and attractions inside the city's center. Now all that is left is packing the right clothes. Unless you are going to someplace where the weather is always a constant, make sure to pack clothes for both good and bad weather. My trip is in a week and the weather is expected to me mostly sunny and in the 50's but there is a chance of rain so I will be packing a coat for the rain, ad extra socks just in case. If you are gong to be in Europe and plan to visit a casino you should know that in Europe casinos are more upscale then in the USA. They will not let you in wearing your shorts a T shirt and sandals, most casinos require men to wear a tie and jacket or a turtleneck. It is also always helpful to buy a travel guide for where ever you are going. Besides having helpful recommendations for things to see and places to eat, many of them offer discounts for attractions. Well the only thing left is to go and have a good time, I know I will.

The five little known fact about starting a daycare center
If you were going to ask your friends, “could you make a living at doing childcare out of your home?” What do you think they would say? Chances are they would say no way, but I’m here to tell you different. In fact I’m here to educate you as to the vast amount of potential that lies within this small business. I’ve always been a believer in doing the opposite as everyone else. When you zag I zig. I’ve talked to a lot of people out there, some who stay home and make no money and others who desperately want to stay home and create some type resemblance of order in their life. Daycare business is a serious business, it’s not babysitting or taking care of a couple of kids here and there. It’s about running a profitable small business that provides a viable income. Below you will discover interesting fact’s regarding childcare. Fact #1 It Really Takes No Money To Start Up This Business I think this has to be one of the few businesses out there that you can start up for next to nothing. Just think about this for a minute, maybe you have children’s items lying around in your basement that no one is using. The funny thing is most daycares utilize the items that around 90% of most households. This would include, couches, small tables, sleeping bags, and of course T. V sets. And in case you don’t have any toy’s and books, you can always visit the local library and area rummage sales. Fact #2 Almost Everything is Tax Deductible Just about everything you use in your house is tax deductible and I mean just about everything! You can also think about tax deductible purchases such as that new couch you bought this year that children sit on, or how about your cell phone bill that parents call you up on. If a household expense can some how relate to your childcare business, than you can write it off. Fact #3 How Much Money Do DayCare’s Really Make? Here’s the real surprise, are you sitting? I made over $90,000 in my daycare last year. Not to shabby, why do you think we hate being called babysitters? When was the last time you met a babysitter that made that kind of money?. Fact #4 Who Is Doing All The Work In The Daycare? A lot of family daycares employ assistants who help out with Daycare children. While the assistants are working you are doing more important things. Perhaps, caring for your own children, making money at other things, or out just plain out having fun. I work at my daycare perhaps 5 hours per week which gives me lot’s of time to pursue other adventures. Fact #5 You Can Start Your Business Today, and Collect Cash Tomorrow? That really the reality of it all, it’s easy to find children to enroll as well. Tell your friends, visit your area schools and churches. Everyone is looking for good childcare and particularly someone they can trust. Why not you? As you can see, day care is a real business. A lot of people out there are successful and really, are making a lot of money.
Personal finance. student loans debts do not go on your credit record
Every time you apply for credit, for example a credit card or a loan, the lender will request to see your credit history from a credit reference agency. The information they hold is so detailed that there's really no need for us to fill out that long application form, because within a fraction of a second they can see all they need to know from Experian, Equifax or Callcredit, the three main credit reference agencies. You would be very surprised to see just how much they know about you. Banks, building societies and other financial institutions providing credit have been passing on details of your financial transactions to the credit agencies. Every time you apply for a credit card, every time you miss a mortgage repayment – it gets noted. They know whether you pay the minimum or the balance each month, they even know details of your credit limit on each credit card. They also look to public records, the voters' roll and the public register of court actions because that is where all county court judgements are listed. It all happens automatically, and when your credit history is requested, the computer will provide a statistical analysis of your financial habits and provide an assessment of your suitability. It enables, the industry argues, lenders to make an accurate judgement about whether they should lend you money or not. However, there is one piece of financial information that the credit agencies are not allowed to access, and that's the student loans. Despite the industry's remonstrations to the government, nothing has changed, and they are not allowed to access the information. The reason? Student loans constitute a debt to the taxpayer, they were not funded by commercial business. Before September 1998, the student loan system worked like this: once graduates were working and earning the national average, which was Ј15,000 at the time, they had to repay their loan on a monthly basis by direct debit. 59,000 of those pre-1998 graduates still haven't started repaying their loan, and each has on average a debt of Ј2,750. In September 1998, the student loan system changed, and the system remains the same to this day. Now, repayments are taken directly at source, straight from the salary in the same way as national insurance and income tax. This method has been a lot more successful. The lending industry is not happy about the student loan situation, their main argument being that they need to know, when considering an application for credit, if the applicant has extra financial responsibilities. The introduction of top-up fees resulted in increasingly large student debts, and as the post-1998 loans have to be paid off at a rate of 9% of the graduate's income once it has reached Ј15,000, it is a large portion of income to lose. The Association Consumer Credit Counselling Service made the following statement: “Knowing whether a young person has a student loan and whether it is being paid back, is useful.” So they are in agreement with the lenders. The Citizens Advice Bureau is also keen to have the information made public, because they feel that graduates could be taking on too much debt, and if lenders could see their student loans, they would ensure that graduates are not given the ability to borrow beyond their means. However, the Department for Education and Skills is showing no signs of wavering on its decision to keep individuals' debts to the Student Loan Company private. For the foreseeable future – the situation will remain the same and student loans information will be inaccessible to the credit industry.
A brief history of tetris
Tetris was the first computer game that involved falling tetromino pieces that the game player must align in order to create an unbroken line which subsequently disappears in order to free up more game play space. If the player is unable to make an unbroken line, the game play space quickly gets crowded until the point where no more space is available and the game is over. The game of Tetris was first programmed in 1985 in the former Soviet Union by Alexey Pazhitnov. It ran on a machine called an Electronica 60 but was quickly ported to run on an IBM PC in the same month of its initial release. One month later and the game had been ported for use on the Apple II and the Commodore 64 by a programming team in Hungary. The game quickly saw interest from a software house in the UK, Andromeda, who released it in the UK and USA in 1986 although the original programmer Pazhitnov had not agreed to any sale or licensing agreement. Nonetheless, Anromeda managed to copyright licensing for the game and marketed Tetris as ‘The first game from behind the iron curtain’. Tetris was an instant smash hit and had thousands of people hooked. A new company, ELORG, took up negotiations on behalf of Pazhitnov and eventually the licensing rights were granted to Nintendo in 1989 for a sum of between 3 and 5 million dollars. Nintendo quickly exerted their corporate strength and forbid any other company to market the game that Andromeda had given license to, including Atari. However, Tetris had become the biggest selling game on all formats at that time. Today Tetris is still hugely popular, with versions running on all formats, and still managing to get people hooked through its simple yet addictive game play.

Bar hopping in vegas
Las Vegas. The name says it all. Vegas is a town where you can be whoever you want to be and do (pretty much!) whatever you want to do. In that sense, the city is often overwhelming to those who are going; many of the great aspects of Vegas are overlooked by visitors simply because there is SO much to do there. To that end, we've made this article as a guide to those who wish to hit the best bars that can be found in the city of sin. For those who wish for a touch of class and an old-school feel to their bar, visiting the Empire Ballroom is a must. This bar was modeled after a 1930's speakeasy-type bar, and its lush 16,000 square feet provide nothing but class and decadence. The bar has a number of private VIP rooms as well as a host of opportunities to get away from the dance floor with its outdoor patios. One thing to note about the ballroom: if you're not exactly ready for the night to end early, an after-party is hosted at the Empire that lasts from 3AM to 10AM, every weeknight! For a traditional Irish styled pub, you can do no better than J. C. Wooloughan's Irish Pub. They have a wide selection of spirits, including 32 different types of triple-distilled single malt whiskey. The bar follows a theme of race-horses, with several authentic pieces of memorabilia scattered throughout. The pub also features an outdoor beer garden for those who wish for a breath of fresh air. Looking for a low-key, hip club that is only known to few? Beauty Bar definitely will meet your expectations. Discretely labeled "Salon of Beauty" by its sign outside, you should not let the name fool you. The bar features a retro-style design with antique hair-dryer chairs providing most of the furniture. It's a very unique experience that should not be missed by one who wishes for a special Vegas trip. If what you're looking for from your Vegas trip is a let-it-all-hang-out, loose, wild experience, Coyote Ugly might be the bar for you. The bar is packed full of beautiful waitresses that spend their time pouring, laughing, and gyrating in an all-out show of a pure rock-n-roll sense. If you don't drink whiskey, you might want to skip this bar. The honky-tonk attitude and in-your-face antics of the bartenders is enough to provide a memorable experience for years to come, if you can remember it!
